Penna

The Challenge
Penna is a Human Capital Management Consultancy which helps companies optimise business performance through people and is the only Human Capital Management Consultancy listed in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for 2006.  After consulting with Penna to establish their current recruitment needs it was made evident that they would need 10 new staff to be a part of their expanding business in the South region, thus increasing their performance and ability to take on further projects.

The Solution
To achieve this Bucks and Berks Recruitment delivered an outline of their capabilities as to how they could provide a suitable recruitment strategy to fulfil Penna’s recruitment needs.  Initially details of the role and the company were researched and with our network of branches and advertising strategies this enabled us to select the most appropriate candidates in the quickest time possible.  Through our pre-selection process for each candidate, including in-depth face to face meetings, skill-testing and interview preparation we were able to give Penna a full insight into each candidate with a detailed profile stating their relevant skills and requirements in order to make the selection process easier.  As well as pre-selecting relevant candidates, Bucks and Berks Recruitment were able to help set up and organise interview times and date, as well as confirming offers and gathering references to speed up the recruitment process and reduce any of the associated administrative duties, enabling the staff at Penna to concentrate on their core business activities.

The Outcome
The business partnership Bucks and Berks established with Penna was extremely successful, with all 10 vacancies being filled by our agency alone.  Our service clearly demonstrated our understanding of Penna’s business requirements and our ability to select successful applicants reflecting the accuracy and efficiency of our service.  Bucks and Berks have enabled the Penna staff to increase their own business performance by saving them time during the recruitment process and through our success in finding the most suitable candidates to match their requirements.  Penna states that “organisations recognise that it is the talent, commitment and knowledge of their people which offer most potential for differentiation in competitive environments”.  This was and remains the essence of our recruitment strategy for Penna, and has allowed us to find candidates who would best benefit the company accordingly, thus significantly impacting on the success of the project.
