Administrative Assistant - Marketing Department

Working for a fantastic company based on the outskirts of Windsor. The Marketing Administrator will provide direct PA support to the Director of Marketing and assistance to the marketing team, including support for the activities involved in the implementation of marketing programmes, campaigns, events, PR and seminars. This will include providing ongoing communication, and organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Diary management for the UK's Marketing Director
  • Collate the UK Marketing Directors expenses on a monthly basis
  • Check expense reports for the Marketing team
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the UK Marketing Director
  • Document meetings as requested
  • Categorise emails in the UK Marketing's Directors inbox to help with prioritisation
  • Track attendance of the UK region Marketing team and collate department absence report for Human Resources
  • Make taxi booking arrangements for the Marketing team
  • Ensure all meetings, appointments and travel are diarised appropriately
  • Provide cover to reception during lunch breaks and on an informal rota basis and during absences
  • Raise purchase orders and check invoices
  • Prepare meeting room and refreshments for on-site Marketing meetings
  • Assist Marketing Director and Marketing Programme Manager in the execution of marketing programmes, campaigns, and public relations activities
  • Responsible for the preparation and shipping of marketing material
  • Attendance at events (occasionally oversea) may be required

Key skills:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Goal orientated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work independently
  • Committed at all times
  • Experience and exposure to corporate marketing
  • Customer and vendor relations experience
  • Knowledge of standard computer application skills, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint
