Business & Finance Manager - 9 month FTC

BUSINESS & FINANCE MANAGER required for a well-established client near Maidenhead. This is a maternity contract to begin around November time and offers £30,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience.

Key duties to include:

  • Ensuring all productions have commission sheets with headline budgets/timelines etc.
  • Responsible for getting all formal sign-off
  • Tracking of projected against actual spend, and flagging any unexpected discrepancies
  • Authorisation of changes to budgets agreed above
  • Where necessary, building a business case for any the additional funds.
  • Ensuring all budget changes are centralised, documented and fed into financial planning
  • Ensuring budget changes are logged at range/release level, to inform P&L reporting
  • Working to install a PO system for all contracted talent and other costs
  • Responsible for issuing licencing contracts, responsible for liaising with solicitors for all new contracts and proof reading contracts
  • Short term cash flow - month on month
  • Authorising invoices for payment, either actioning them yourself, or passing to another for processing. Providing weekly reports and commentary
  • Medium and long-term cash flow; flagging any potential budget stress periods, income projections/accruing for larger projects, ensuring all accounting / company deadlines are managed and met (either directly, or with task partners
  • Liaising with HR outsource team as necessary
