Our client, a successful medical company are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator

Reporting to the Operations manager you will be expected to coordinate the day to day head office facilities buildings and site contractors.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Coordinating and planning essential central services such as security/access control, maintenance, cleaning, meeting rooms, waste disposal and recycling;
* Ensuring the buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation;
* Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with the coordination of building maintenance as required;
* Responsible for coordinating and maintaining all building utilities;
* Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with project management and supervising/coordinating the work of contractors;
* Assist the Operations Manager with the co-ordination of any refurbishments, renovations or office moves;
* Responsible for co-ordination of meeting room facilities;
* Act as Fleet Co-ordinator for the company including administration/co-ordination of the pool car
* Provide cover for the Handyman, Postroom and Reception as required


SKILLS REQUIRED

· Previous experience in a Facilities department
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent numeracy skills
· Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office and databases)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organisational skills
· Flexibility and able to keep calm under pressure
· Ability to prioritise work load and work to deadlines
· Basic level of practical maintenance skills
