Legal Receptionist/Secretary - 4 1/2 days p/w!!

Our client, a small law firm based in Marlow, is looking for a personable, confident and IT literate Receptionist/Legal Secretary to join them on a full time basis or 4 1/2 days per week (with Friday afternoons off).

The standard office hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with an hour for lunch.

The successful candidate will need to have good typing skills and be confident with MS Outlook and diary management.

Duties include

  • Meeting and greeting existing and prospective clients that drop in or have appointments scheduled
  • Producing documents and correspondence by word processing or audio typing
  • Attending to clients face to face and on the phone
  • Maintaining client details on the database
  • Managing the Fee Earner's diary
  • Drafting straightforward legal documents under supervision of Fee Earner
  • Photocopying, filing, general administration

Skills and Experience

  • Legal secretarial experience is preferred
  • Good audio typing skills (idealy 60 wpm plus)
  • MS Office experience
  • Confidentiality and discretion
  • Good sense of humour
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
