National Account Manager

Our client are a fantastic, well established, national supplier of premium products for fine dining, pastry and hospitality. They are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to look after the larger accounts for the business. The purpose of this role is to manage and develop existing high profile accounts, open new business and aim to build excellent relationships with customers and staff.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities within a varied customer portfolio
  • Identify and deliver new customers
  • Achieve and exceed sales margin targets
  • Build effective internal and external business relationships
  • Monitor sales against budget and take corrective action when necessary
  • Ability to monitor account trends and introduce new business plans
  • Understand and train others on the sales process
  • Promotional planning
  • Plan and attend customer meetings
  • Attend industry dinners
  • National travel (overnight stays including weekends when required)

  • A full driving license
