Part Time Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant required to join a small Consultancy based in Maidenhead. The role is offered on a part time basis (arounds 20 hours per week) and offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to sometimes work from home.

Key duties to include:

  • Managing the invoicing process, raising all invoices at the beginning of the month
  • Paying supplier invoices
  • Using SAGE Instant Accounts
  • Chasing outstanding payments from clients
  • Purchase Orders
  • Maintaining company spreadsheets and databases and updating regularly
  • VAT returns via SAGE

Key skills & attributes required:

  • Must have previous accounts experience and be able to work autonomously
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and be well-organised
  • A pro-active and forward thinking approach is essential
  • Excellent IT skills with use of SAGE essential
