Sales Executive

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive has opened at a growing business in Reading town centre.

The successful applicant will be the initial point of contact for inbound sales enquiries and be responsible for researching, planning and executing outbound sales campaigns. Other responsibilities include monitoring online forums, managing customer orders and closing consultative sales for Enterprise customers, and those requiring human assistance completing a sale

Key duties to include:

  • Become familiar with the company's product set, and sales growing as a key member of the core team
  • Communicate and work effectively and clearly with other team members including the Sales Administrator
  • Meet agreed sales targets

Key skills required:

  • Proven sales track record
  • Organised and tidy
  • Good written and verbal English
  • Working with others particularly in of a technical mind-set and in a busy environment

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience of sales and/or running a sales function (software and/or online related)
  • Outgoing / strong communicator (verbally and written)
  • Demonstrable strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Track record of working / selling and meeting / beating agreed sales targets
