Submitting your Curriculum Vitae, Registration and use of this Web Site

When you submit your CV via this web site or by any other method this does not mean you have registered as a candidate with Bucks and Berks. All you are doing is indicating that you are interested in a particular job advertised on this web site or seen in the newspapers or that you are considering changing jobs or taking up temporary work.

In most cases we will reply by e-mail to your enquiry. If we feel that your skills may be suitable we will ask you to come into one of our branches and formally register. This registration normally takes the form of a face-to-face interview, filling in a Bucks and Berks Application Form and being skill tested on any relevant packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Other basic office tests include Typing, Spelling, and Data Entry or any other tests we may feel to be appropriate to your application and which our client companies may request.

If we accept your registration, as a matter of presentation, Bucks and Berks has a preferred format when presenting CV's to prospective clients. Therefore, we may alter your CV to conform to this format. Your re-formatted CV would have identifying information about you such as your name, and the names of your previous employers and would have the Bucks and Berks logo added at the top of the page to identify Bucks and Berks to the client.

Whenever you update your CV you must inform the consultant dealing with your application and resubmit your CV to them again. We are reliant on you supplying us with factual and accurate information about you, your experience and requirements.


Declaration and Permissions

If you do not wish your CV to be amended please inform the consultant that is dealing with your application.

If you do not want Bucks and Berks to send your reformatted CV details to prospective clients, again, please contact the consultant handling your application. You are welcome to a copy of your reformatted CV on request.

There may be occasions when we are unable to contact you to discuss a vacancy. In such cases by submitting your CV to us you agree for us to submit your CV to a company without obtaining prior permission. However, in most cases and as normal practice we will try and discuss the company and the job and/or assignment with you in the first place.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any information submitted by you to this web site is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data prior to being submitted to this site.

If you wish to request the removal of your registration from our books, for example, you have found work elsewhere; please submit an email to the consultant who is dealing with your application.

You certify that you have approached Bucks and Berks of your own free will when you submit your CV and register with us for Temporary and/or Permanent employment. You also agree that this has been done without any solicitation or coercion from any member of staff of Bucks and Berks.

You also confirm that your CV is true and correct, when you submit it.


Terms of Business for Prospective Employers or Client Companies 

Each temporary assignment or permanent placement arising as a result of an introduction made by Bucks and Berks will be subject to our standard Terms of Business (Permanent and Temporary Staff). All prospective employers and clients companies for whom we arrange assignments or placements will be provided with a copy of our Terms of Business for Permanent and Temporary staff. If you require a copy of our Terms of Business you can contact your nearest branch who will be happy to send you our Terms.


Links

From time to time Bucks and Berks may offer links into other third party web sites via their servers which Bucks & Berks has no control over. Bucks & Berks accepts no responsibility or liability for any third party web sites you access through this site. Neither you nor any third party may link another site to the Bucks and Berks website without Bucks and Berks prior written consent.


Your Computer System

Bucks and Berks accepts no responsibility or liability for any information you have down loaded onto your computer system


User Name and Password

There are a number of areas on the web site where you are asked for a user name and password. You are requested to submit an email to Bucks and Berks and in return we will supply these details via email. You will only be given access if you have currently registered and you are looking for employment or you are temping for us. Bucks and Berks will not give you access to these areas, if you simply submit your CV.

You are responsible for all use of this web site made using your user name and password, whether or not such use is made by you or by someone else using your user name and password. You are responsible for protecting and securing your user name and password from unauthorised use. Your user name and password must not be disclosed to another person.
