Our client, a hugely growing organisation, has an immediate requirement for an office-based Account Executive in a brand-new position to contact and manage a defined number of existing customer accounts. The average order value will range from £150 -£10,000 for each account.

In the role you'll be tasked with maintaining existing sales, whilst helping the Key Account Manager on larger long-term projects.

We are looking for a good 'can-do' attitude and a proven track-record of account management and account retention.

The ideal candidate will have a sales or account management background, with a hunger to develop their career in a well-established company with great long-term prospects to advance. Full product training will be given but an understanding of manufacturing, distribution and supply chain for any type of packaging will be beneficial.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Service existing customers to ensure continuity of orders.
* Create, maintain and update CRM database with customers account information.
* Consolidate existing customer base.
* Ensure customer follow-up at all times.
* Send or email product literature, brochures, catalogues and other campaign material.
* Monitor competitors' products or services and create selling strategies for own products or services.
* Handle customer needs and requirements.
* Report on a weekly basis to the Key Account Manager your sales progress.
* Assist and support sales colleagues, marketing or other departments in handling customer requests and needs.
