Accounts Assistant

Our client, a successful organisation based in Marlow, is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

This role will provide key support to ebusiness from within the finance function for purchase ledger, supplier payment run, assisting with month end and reports and completing a variety of finance tasks.

Key Duties

  • Post non stock supplier invoices and statement reconciliations
  • Perform routine purchase ledger activities
  • Recharge intercompany invoices
  • Process expense claims
  • Check and release customer orders
  • Provide cover for finance departmen functions such as treasury and courier purchase ledger
  • Assist with cash flow and produce updated list on weekly basis
  • Assist with reconciliations and reporting
  • Support month/year end processes
  • EC sales returns/intrasat
  • Posting journals

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of Excel and Sage
  • Previous experience in a similar rol
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver results in a timely fashion
  • Proactive
  • Strong team player
  • Personable
