Our client is recruiting for an Administrator to start immediately. This is a full time Monday to Friday temporary role where you will work in an on-going basis for a minimum of 3 months.

This is a very busy practice where you will be required to be hands on, work under pressure and be an excellent communicator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing referrals and forwarding to the duty nurse
  • Requesting information for assessments and reviews
  • Booking appointments for patients
  • Issuing letters to patients
  • Preparing agendas and distributing notes
  • Sorting and prioritising all Incoming mail and e-mails, distributing them as appropriate
  • Scanning/printing documents
  • Answering telephone calls and signposting where appropriate.

You will be a main point of contact for all colleagues and stakeholders such as Nursing Homes, Hospice, GPs, Domiciliary Care Providers, Local authorities, Acute Trusts, Community Nursing and the public.

The role will involve speaking to the relatives of patients who are at the end of life so empathy and understanding is required.
