Our client are a National Supplier of Premium Products for Fine Dining, Pastry and Hospitality in the UK are currently looking for a Sales Manager to grow the sales of their bespoke products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth of all bespoke items whilst protecting maximum margins according to agreed terms
  • Plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, especially managing personal time & productivity
  • Visit customers & attend customer visits with Area Sales Managers
  • Develop and maintain existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth, together with customer satisfaction
  • Be the primary sales contact for the sales team on all bespoke products and proactively respond to all customer queries from customer services and sales
  • Drive & assist the ASMs to sell bespoke products within their territories
  • Help generate creative, innovative ideas for bespoke/packing room products in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to cost up all new products to maximise margins
  • Working with the marketing team, create marketing collateral for ASMs to sell bespoke products
  • Manage communication of short dated promotions of bespoke stock where required & drive sales to clear this stock

Person Specification and Skills

  • Competent with MS office packages
  • Full driving license
  • 2-3 years sales experience
  • Confident with analytical and numerical duties
