We're looking for a Cashiering Supervisor to join a fantastic team based in Wokingham…

Working within the Client Banking function, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective administering of client bank accounts, on behalf of the companies pensions administration clients.

Salary: up to £28,000 plus benefits
Location: Wokingham

Your Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities will include…

  • Daily raising of cheques and electronic payments for pensions schemes
  • Maintaining cashbooks for pension schemes
  • Liaising with scheme(s) Pensions Administrators, clients' companies accounts departments for accounting information
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing Income & Expenditure Reports at requested intervals
  • Ensure accurate and prompt filing of all documentation
  • Supervising and checking of work of Accounts Administrators

Your Experience, Education and Skills…


  • Previous office based experience in a finance related role including payroll, book keeping, cash book and bank reconciliation
  • Previous experience of managing a team including both people and workflow management responsibilities.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to transpose data accurately
  • Good oral and written communication skills with effective interpersonal skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Numerical accuracy
  • Able to approach problems in an analytical and systematic way
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good general education, including GCSE Mathematics grade B or above or equivalent qualification


  • Working knowledge of Pensions Scheme accounting
  • Previous experience working with an accountancy / cashiering package (Aviary Profund and CashFac VBT)
  • Experience of managing people and processes within a payroll, treasury and cashiering environment
