Communications/Marketing Manager

Our client are an established national supplier of over 1,200 premium products for Fine Dining, Pastry and Hospitality in the UK.

This opportunity is a new role within the business and will report to the Head of Marketing. They are flexible with the positioning of this, as either Marketing Manager, Communications Manager or Senior Brand Manager dependant on the experience of the most suited candidate. You will be responsible for managing two Marketing Assistants, and dependant on experience may take on Management for the Brand Manager, although this is not essential.

The maximum salary for this role will be £36,000, plus a £4,000 annual bonus split into - 50% KPI and 50% company profit.

Key responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the company brand and the way it is perceived within the industry
- Develop and implement a marketing plan, to include CRM and lead generation initiatives
- Manager the production and evolution of main product guide and price list and additional promotional materials
- Manage the production of the seasonal product guides (Valentines/Easter/Mothering Sunday & Christmas) and account or role specific versions, as required (e.g. Free From)
- Work closely with Brand Manager to arrange promotional events in conjunction with suppliers & customers.
- Manage Marketing Assistant 1 in maintaining the website (driving online traffic with web-related campaigns), digital newsletter and social media platforms. Write new copy/news to keep the website refreshed, as required.
- Manage Marketing Assistant 2 in the development of CRM campaigns and account-specific initiatives, as briefed in by the sales team.

Key skills:
- Approximately 4-6 years of marketing experience.
- Extensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities.
