If you have a minimum of 5 plus years experience working as a Credit Controller, and looking for a full time, permanent opportunity working for a well established, successful and friendly company, then we have the job for you. Our client a seeking a strong Credit Controller to join them, with the abilty to hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities:
· To manage customer accounts, direct contacts, and statements to ensure accounts are settled in accordance with agreed terms and company objectives.
· To highlight any accounts at risk and notify management promptly.
· To evaluate credit risk using online D & B referencing.
· To attend regular cash flow meetings
· Maintaining Sales ledgers for the company(s) as designated.
· Raising Sales Invoices via Order Processing, mailing to customers and posting to appropriate customer accounts.
· Posting and allocating customer receipts to the Sales ledger
· Ensure month end deadlines are maintained and that month end reports are prepared and delivered in timely fashion.
· Covering or supporting other accounting routines in the absence of staff members.

Key skills:
· Comprehensive experience in a credit control function
· All round sales ledger and credit control knowledge
· Knowledge of banking
· Excellent customer service skills with a confident and positive attitude
· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
· Excellent IT skills: Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· A hands-on approach and a keen attention to detail
