Customer Implementation Project Manager (Nationwide travel)

Our client are a Digital Print Management company, who's Headquarters are based in Manchester. They are currently recruiting for a Customer Implementation Project Manager, which requires Nationwide travel. They have an office in Bracknell, so happy to consider people close to this area, who can work from home or from the Bracknell office.

Extensive travel across the country is required and interviews will take place in their Headquarters based in Manchester.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for the project planning, leading and delivering of assigned client solutions as assigned by your line manager
  • To support prospect presentation and be part of the initial solution design team on large corporate solutions
  • At preferred bidder stage to take the lead and establish clear project structures, solution blueprints and implementation approach between the client and business
  • Ensure that projects have a clear scope and deliverable before developing a detailed project plan
  • To coordinate the solution implementation across all internal function and the client to ensure delivery to time and agreed scope
  • Responsible for the transferring of information in relation to contractual and service levels to the relevant department heads of the business
  • Effectively engage and develop strong working relationships with all project stakeholders involved and affected by the project
  • Establish and maintain risk and issue registers, assessing likelihood and impact
  • Manage third party relationships
  • Conduct post implementation reviews on completed projects

Key skills:

  • At least 5 years Project Management experience
  • Prince 2 Practitioner Qualification or equivalent
  • Can demonstrate clear evidence of the existence of base-lined project plans, project initiation documents, milestone progress reporting in line with agreed methodology.
  • Experience in business transformation and transition
  • A full valid UK driving license is essential and extensive travel is part of the role
  • Microsoft Excel to intermediate or advanced level
  • Previous experience within the print industry would be beneficial
  • Team management and leadership

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions which will have a major day - to - day impact on area of responsibility
  • Ability to demonstrate original thinking
  • Commercial understanding
