We're seeking a Digital Marketing Executive for a respectable and established client based in Bracknell

You'll be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and accountability for the internal digital services.

This will involve working closely with heads of departments and website owners throughout the business to deliver strategic intelligence on web products performance.

Location: Bracknell

Salary: £24,000

Key duties & responsibilities to include:

  • Take ownership of all digital reporting across the range of websites
  • Regularly monitor the effectiveness and accountability of the digital services
  • Use website analytics and data analysis to improve understanding of website users, providing insights into user behaviour to the rest of the business
  • Generate and circulate regularly reviewed reports for internal stakeholders
  • Proactively drive forward improvements and changes in website tracking
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practices for Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking and email tracking
  • Act as a central point of communication for internal stakeholders, developing a strong understanding of the business needs of each department
  • Communicate pro-actively with departments throughout the business
  • Ensure that digital reporting effectively supports departmental objectives and business change across the organisation
  • Highlight new opportunities and document potential improvements and projects
  • Support the digital and marketing teams to update and maintain websites and email programmes
  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of best practices in consumer intelligence

Skills and knowledge required:

  • Demonstrable practical experience working with web technologies
  • Strong background in data analytics with the ability to use data to influence others
  • Practical knowledge of web tracking, with excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Web Suite
  • Good working knowledge of front-end web development
  • Knowledge of social media, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and monitoring and reporting on behaviours in these mediums
  • An understanding of HTML/CSS, Javascript and how they can aid in tracking user behaviour
  • The ability to communicate effectively online
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • The ability to research and present ideas and business cases for web solutions
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent computer literacy, especially in Excel
  • Knowledge of Data Studio and Power BI would be beneficial
  • Desire to work with and use new digital technologies
