Our client, a well-established non for-profit organisation, is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join their busy team.

The role holder will be responsible for the creation and management of email communication campaigns to the client's audiences and serve as the go-to specialist for colleagues who have queries or suggestions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage email campaigns to the client's audiences, including members, corporate partners and employees
  • Implement recommendations arising from recent email audits
  • Serve as the owner of the company's bulk email system to help the client get the most from the platform, advise colleagues using it effectively and take ownership of any issues that arise
  • Serve as the go-to knowledge resource for the wider business, offering advice, guidance and instruction to colleagues
  • Manage the editorial calendar for email communications
  • Improve the quality and quantity of mailing lists in partnership with the campaign manager
  • Use analysis tools and data including the client's bulk email system analytics and Google Analytics to understand efficacy of email campaigns
  • Report on performance and progress of email campaign activity
  • Work with IT and digital teams to support on any technical issues involving the bulk email system as and when they arise
  • Show a desire to innovate and implement new ideas, to ensure the client is constantly getting the most from its bulk email system

Key Skills:

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a marketing or technology-related discipline
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in or alongside a creative role, such as copywriting or graphic design
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (ideally DotMailer)
  • Familiarity with online analytics tools
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills, on all levels
  • Ability to understand and analyse data, presenting findings in a logical, clear way
  • Ability to multi take and work to tight deadlines
  • Customer-focused and able to understand the needs and priorities of customers
