Events Manager/PA

Our client, a unique business with a fantastic working environment, is looking to recruit an Events Manager and PA to join their team.

The role is a dual role and will include planning and organising events whilst also providing PA support to the General Manager, plus assisting with H&S and HR admin.

The successful candidate will have previous event management experience coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Duties include
- Planning and organising all aspects of events
- Conducting site visits, building relationships with potential clients, pricing and budgeting contractors costs, liaising with accounts for invoicing, followed by issuing contracts and facilitating access
- Overseeing the set up and clear down
- Ensuring that event contractor's compliance, insurance and risk assessments are in place
- Source new third party event clients and building long lasting relationships.
- Pursue new ventures - Bonfire night/Halloween/Christmas Grotto/Weddings
- Work on developing premises and wedding licence
- Support the General Manager - post, telephone calls, appointments, manage 'in' and 'out' tray
- Assistance with mapping, legal documents, contracts.
- Ensure adequate Data protection protocols are in place.
- Sign off invoices and check for discrepancies.
- Check and authorise bank payments.
- Provide HR support as required - working closely with HR officer
- Responsible for managing social media agency (Instagram, Facebook) and the website redesign
- Health and Safety administration
