Do have experience working in a finance role in a nursery?

Do you enjoy working in a busy varied position?

If so, our client are currently seeking a full time finance administrator to be responsible for the day to day financial responsibilities of the organisation.

Key Duties

  • Raising fee schedules for new children (non-funded and funded) dealing with session changes, entering fees onto QuickBooks and direct debit payments
  • Dealing with withdrawal notices
  • Dealing with all parent queries re fees and funding
  • Liaising with Local Authorities re funding
  • Raising and recording petty cash payments (Nurseries)
  • Entering petty cash journals
  • Processing of Credit card payments from parents
  • Processing of company credit card Journals
  • Entering supplier invoices onto QuickBooks, checking supplier statements
  • Dealing with incoming calls from parents, suppliers and nursery Managers - deal with or pass on to the relevant person
  • Set up and amend customer accounts/supplier on QuickBooks
  • Travel to nurseries when required meetings/conferences when required
  • Advise nursery mangers re fundraising account balances

Experience/Skills

  • Experience working within a finance role
  • Previous experience working in a nursery
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Able to work to tight deadline
