Food and Beverage Manager

Our client are recruiting for an experience Food and Beverage Manager, who has had previous experience in meeting and events, training and management. This role is based in Windsor, working for a 4 star riverside hotel.

Key responsibilities:

  • To improve operating standards in all F & B departments
  • To control departmental expenses including liquor cost of sales & staff wages in line with business levels.
  • To carry out appraisal and performance reviews for direct reports including the setting and review of business & personal objectives
  • To work with the Head Chef to implement more varied "on trend" menu
  • Duty Management as required on rota

Key skills:

  • 3-4 year's experience in F & B service management in quality hotels and the ability to display excellent Guest care skills
  • Operational experience in all F & B departments including Events & Weddings with a good knowledge of wines & spirits & a passion for fresh, quality food
  • Self-motivation - and the ability to motivate others to achieve
  • Standards driven with the ability to implement policies and procedures and to police them
  • Well presented with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner and excellent command of written & spoken English with good IT skills
