Graduate E-Commerce & Customer Service Executive

Our client, a long established retail company with a growing online presence in Beaconsfield, is looking to recruit a bright, articulate customer focused candidate to join their thriving HQ.

This position is office based and will encompass tasks from all of their digital sales channels (website, Amazon & eBay). Working as part of a passionate and successful team the successful candidate will report into the website development manager.

No specific qualifications are necessary. However, A-level and higher education will be beneficial. To be successful in this role you'll be highly literate, have a professional and polite telephone manner and be comfortable working with a wide range of computer software.

For customer service activities you will be the primary point of contact for customers and handle telephone, email and live chat enquiries. Duties will include

  • Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly, proactive, efficient and effective manner
  • Maintain a consistent approach to enquiries maintaining our world-class customer service.
  • Manage the customer return and back order processes
  • Understand the company's liability on orders and deal with customer issues

Working as part of the e-commerce team duties will include

  • Site walk / Product position and categorisation / navigation checks
  • Credits/returns refunds & exchanges
  • Special order loading
  • Manage and operate in Amazon Performance targets
  • Affiliate Window sales validation
  • Product description enhancement
  • Weekly reconciliation of open orders and liaison with suppliers and client
  • Reassigning products into categories
  • Adhoc SEO enhancements
  • Assisting with the collation of data for product load

Specific candidate requirements:

  • Strong experience of working in a customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

Other beneficial candidate requirements:

  • Ideally experience of working in an e-commerce environment
  • Experience with Photoshop and/or other image editing software
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO, Web copywriting
