We're looking for an ER Specialist and HR Business Partner for a leading global company based in Maidenhead

You'll be working as part of a large HR Team to support managers in all aspects of ER and working with the business to set strategies and utilise best practice, minimising employment legal risks to the business and its employees.

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £competitive + benefits + bonus

Holidays: 25 days per annum + 2 extra days

As the Employee Relations Specialist and HR Business Partner, a few of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support line managers in conducting formal procedures eg. Disciplinary, capability, grievance, flexible working etc
  • Assist managers to conduct first level formal hearings in disciplinary, grievance and capability related matters
  • Carry out administration of the HR function
  • Build relationships across the business
  • Carry out specific projects as and when required by the HR Director
  • Provide guidance and advice to Managers on specific issues as they arise
  • Responsible for preparation and publication of the Employee Handbook and ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date
  • Comply with the company's policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality and business requirements
  • Support and assist HR Business Partners with:
    • Employee Relations matters
    • Strategies and policies
    • Organisational development
    • Restructure projects
    • Business related projects
  • Carry out other duties as and when required by the HR Director.

Skills and experience they're looking for:

  • CIPD qualified.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of HR in a large company environment with a proven track record in performance management, employee relations and internal consultancy skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience of ER issues including ad hoc legal matters, redundancy, settlement agreements, subject access requests, preparation of bundles for tribunal.
  • Professional, accountable, high energy and collaborative team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure and changing environment
