HR Manager

Our client, a successful organisation based in High Wycombe, is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager (Level 5 CIPD minimum) to join them.

Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will manage an HR Advisor and will oversee and run the HR department and advise operations managers on employee relations and HR processes.

Mainly based at the HQ in High Wycombe, there will be occasional travel to other sites around the UK so a driving license is essential.

Duties include
* Ensure investigations, disciplinary and grievance, attendance and performance matters are handled promptly, effectively and following ACAS best practice and legal requirements
* Give advice or aid operations managers in disciplinary/grievance procedure
* Assist in PQQ´s and tender documentation and presentations
* Maintain and update HR policies and procedures and create new policies, procedures and documents when required
* Oversee and manage incoming and outgoing TUPE processes
* Manage redundancy processes
* Manage GDPR queries, training, policies and data subject access requests
* Oversee the recruitment process
* Continuously strive to improve employee engagement
* Assist with special projects (even if outside traditional HR remit) as directed by MD
* Ensure the employee reward platform is utilized and up to date
* Deliver HR training to managers
* Oversee the office and manager holiday tracking
* Manage occupational health referrals
* Oversee learning and development
* To liaise with our outsourced HR and Legal advisers on complex HR cases
* Take minutes at weekly and monthly senior management meetings

Skills and Experience
* Level 5 CIPD qualified or equivalent, as a minimum
* Must have extensive experience in advising on ER cases, TUPE processes and redundancies
* Trade union experience is preferred
* Degree educated in business or HR area is preferred
* Strong organisation skills
* Team player, resilient with strong communication skills
* Must be confidential and discreet
* Willing to travel to various UK sites when required
* Must pass a successful DBS and background check due to nature of clients
