Our client is an independant, family run supplier of quality cleaning, hygiene and catering consumables.

They are looking for candidates who are able hunt for opportunities to grow business, to develop relationships with existing customers to maximise the mutual value within those accounts and through these activities to push the company forward.

Key responsibilities:
* Account management prospecting to identify contacts/departments/opportunities and collating that data
* Making new opportunity calls according to the sales process provided to introduce the company and suggest something of potential interest or value and to initiate/develop a business relationship.
* Conducting an investigatory call and needs analysis process
* If the conversation merits it, arranging appointments for the Sales Area Manager to visit
* Preparing and presenting a quote
* Following up to close the sale
* Follow up account management, retention and development

Key skills:
* Internal Account Management or Inside Sales Experience
* Used to making appointments (cold)
* Has been used to prospecting
* Good diary management
* High standard of written and spoken English
* Track record of sales success
* Used to selling services (or at least, products packaged as part of a bespoke solution)
* IT competent
* Reasonable typing speed
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Great telephone manner
* Creative/imaginative
* Willing to challenge
* Team player
* Resilient
* Good work ethic
