Internal Recruitment Specialist - 12 Month FTC

Our client, a vibrant company in Stokenchurch, is looking for an experienced Internal Recruitment Specialist to join their HR team on a 12 month maternity contract.

Duties include
* Responsible for all recruitment requirements being fulfilled in line with set deadlines to ensure the business meets the client's expectations
* Take extensive brief of new vacancies, booking face-to-face meetings/conference calls to discuss where appropriate
* Writing job descriptions, skills and competencies matrices and producing Thomas International HJAs for all roles
* Writing creative and attractive advertising appropriate to the role and audience
* Utilise LinkedIn for vacancy posting and sourcing
* Set date for Assessment Centres/interviews at the start of the recruitment process
* Screening all CV's before processing or rejecting
* Conduct all HR telephone interviews, ensuring all notes are accurate and produced to a professional standard to share with the Client
* Keep ATS up-to-date and ensure the status of each candidate is correct appropriate to their progress throughout the recruitment process
* Arranging on-line Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) testing via the Thomas International Portal. Sending out invitations for candidates to complete PPAs and review these when completed
* Create the Assessment Centre Agenda and print Assessment Centre materials
* Ensure smooth running of the Assessment Centre
* Inform HR and Payroll of new starters
* Produce and communicate the Weekly Recruitment Update Excel spreadsheet
* Weekly Client/Project Manager recruitment updates where appropriate
* Regularly review and update recruitment/assessment centre materials


* A wealth of experience in a similar role with a mix of internal and agency recruitment
* Sound operational experience in a dedicated recruitment and selection role demonstrating good judgement and decision-making skills with a pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
* Project managing a variety of recruitment campaigns simultaneously from start to finish with minimum supervision
* Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills
* Have an understanding of the legislation around recruiting
* Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with all issues of business, especially when handling sensitive situations and information
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines and to manage own workload
* Always looking to improve procedures and documentation
* A good team player
