Our client based in Bourne End (moving to Hedsor in the near future) is looking to recruit a professional, personable and experienced Internal Sales Consultant/Account Manager to join their busy team. Working with the Internal Sales Manager, this role is responsible for identifying growth in new and existing accounts and setting up appointments for the external sales team.

This role would suit someone driven, motivated and dynamic with excellent telephone sales skills. Our client offers 25 days holiday, free parking and working hours of 8.30am - 5pm.

We're looking for a high-calibre Account Manager who will hit the ground running and is looking for a career with a global company. The successful candidate will need to have a proven track record in cold calling as this accounts for around 65% of the role.

£25k basic plus commission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to generate growth
  • Identify new business opportunities to generate new accounts, inclusive of cold calling
  • Manage follow up of existing customers, prospects and quotations on a systematic basis
  • Build good relationships with contacts to maintain existing accounts
  • Monitor the overall sales performance of the account base assigned and take corrective actions to meet the agreed sales budget requirements
  • Support with incoming customer calls and assist with enquiries
  • Organise trial appointments for the external sales team

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role - B2B Telemarketing/Inside Sales
  • Experience in the packaging industry highly desirable, but not essential
  • Proven experience of gaining appointments

  • Engaging, polite & confident speaking with all levels of contact within business
  • Takes pride in ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
  • Meticulously organised with the ability of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure, and manage own workload
  • Has an honest, respectful and diligent approach to work with a strong sense of integrity
  • A positive, solutions orientated attitude is essential
