Junior Graphic Designer

Our client, a luxury British brand, is looking for a Junior Graphic Design to join their team.

The main focus of this role is to assist with preparing all print and digital artwork for all global marketing requirements whilst upholding and maintaining our client's brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:
* Creating the most engaging and eye catching still and animated digital designs and print designs in-line with existing brand guidelines
* Artwork and submit print adverts to publications and Retailers
* Assist in the designing of print and email event invitations
* Assisting with the artworking of quarterly and annual publications
* Preparing still and animated artwork and designs for the website, all digital advertising and social media adverts
* Working alongside Social Media executive to assist with the artworking of organic social media posts
* Designing new website landing pages and working with Marketing team to implement them
* Act as a brand guardian to ensure all assets are being used correctly and in accordance with the brand guidelines
* Work closely with internal stakeholders and Marketing team to ensure all artwork is delivered on time
* Work with external suppliers to ensure printed materials are delivered on time
* Working alongside Events team to prepare artwork for events and exhibitions
* Prepare and maintain brand presentations and internal brand stationary

Qualifications, knowledge and experience:
* Design related qualification required
* Experience working for a creative agency or as a designer in-house for a brand
* Design in the luxury/premium sector desired but not essential
* Competent in producing animated artwork as well as still
* Knowledge and advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite CS5 onwards (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and After Effects)
* HTML and CSS knowledge desired but not essential

Competencies and personal attributes:
* Must be able to work quickly and manage multiple projects - working in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter who shows initiative.
* Must have a great eye for design, keeping abreast of current trends and movement in the design space.
* Sound understanding of print processes and ability to confidently prepare 'press-ready' designs
* Video editing and photography experience desired but not essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of content management systems desired but not essential
