Key Account and Project Manager - Automotive

Our client are a fantastic Automotive company who specialise in recruiting people for the Automotive industry. They pride themselves in supporting their clients and candidates with their long-term strategy and vision. As the Key Account and Project Manager you will be responsible to professionally deliver exceptional recruitment solutions, to improve the performance of client organisations, whilst delivering market leading client and candidate service standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Rapidly build an understanding of their clients and maintain awareness of industry trends, company and industry news
  • Work with existing clients to identify new projects and increase client activity for permanent, contract, interim and consulting services.
  • Arrange and conduct telephone and in person interviews, ensuring effective and accurate candidate assessment and reporting, timings and logistics
  • Attend existing client meetings
  • Initiate and participate in projects
  • Industry event attendance and hosting
  • Use software such as various databases, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Maintain high quality standards at all times
  • Gather, analyse and validate data
  • Use various forms of communication such as telephone, skype, email and messaging sites such as LinkedIn and other social media to manage candidate relationships

Key skills:

  • A genuine passion for and knowledge of the automotive sector
  • Experience in researching or recruitment from a fast moving and energetic environment
  • Strong intellect, empathetic, quality driven mind-set, inquisitive nature
  • Successfully arranged and co-ordinated meetings and travel, ideally on an international basis
  • Ability to quickly assess and interpret data and written information, combined with excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Great team working skills and willing to support others to help them do their jobs better
  • Willing to work longer than a typical 9.00am to 5.30pm day if workload demands it
  • Full clean driving license
  • Happy to work in a friendly dog - dog friendly office
  • Sociable and confident personality with a good sense of humour
