Our client, linked to the construction industry, is an international premium brand with offices in the UK, USA, Middle East, Asia and Australia. They’re currently recruiting for a bright, enthusiastic and ambitious Marketing Communications Executive to join their marketing team who is looking to develop and grow the role.
They need someone who can engage an audience through writing, someone who is a natural storyteller who knows how to adapt to the audience and channel. This is a hands-on role where relationships, internally and externally, are key. We are looking for someone ideally with a couple of year’s marketing experience who has lots of initiative and thrives on challenges.
As well as experience and personality, a keen interest in the world of design, interior design and/or architecture would be beneficial.
Salary is £28k – £35k depending on skills and experience, plus excellent benefits and the potential for hybrid working after probation.
Duties include
- Branded Content Creation – You’ll work alongside the graphic designer to create compelling content that looks and sounds like ‘them’. This could be anything from case studies and editorial to SEO copy, socials and email campaigns
- Event Coordination – Relationships are key. They have a London showroom where they regularly host partners and clients. You will be hands on with event ideas and their successful rollout. You will also engage with international and regional teams to help make their events successful
- Agency & Freelancer Coordination – You’ll work alongside the Head of Marketing to ensure the team is fully engaged with PR, Web and Brand agencies. You’ll be a vital day to day point of contact. A key aspect of this will be commissioning project photography and videography. You will maintain close ties to photographers globally
Skills and Experience
- Experience is less important than attitude – but to be successful you will need excellent examples of commercial copy
- Ideally degree educated in a marketing, creative or journalistic discipline
- Ideally at least 2 year’s experience in a similar role
- A keen interest in the world of design. Ideally in interior design and architecture would be beneficial
- Outgoing, confident personality who enjoys meeting new people and building a rapport with internal colleagues and external clients
