Working for a stunning 4 star Hotel, our client is seeking a Meeting and Events Manager with a good knowledge of running meetings and events as well as a passion for fresh, quality food; together with a desire to deliver excellent levels of service to lead their Meeting and Events Operations department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Organising and delivering business meetings, special events and weddings
  • Improving operating standards
  • Being aware of the meeting and events department financial targets in order to ensure that everything possible is done to achieve budget revenue
  • Driving opportunities in the department by up-selling where ever possible
  • Implementing and monitoring departmental training and development plans
  • Carrying out performance reviews
  • Duty management as and when required

Key skills:

  • 2 - 3 years experience in a Meeting and Events environment at supervisory level
  • Ability to display excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation and drive
  • Good presentation, with an outgoing personality
