Meetings and Conference Coordinator

We are looking for a Meetings and Conference Coordinator for a fantastic company based in Cookham!

You will be responsible for providing professional support for all training courses, seminars and conferences, ensuring the highest standards of day to day cleanliness of the site.

Your duties will include:

  • Allocating appropriate resources for all events with the Conference Sales Team Leader
  • To line manage Conference Assistant
  • To provide rotas for Conference Assistant in conjunction with the Conference Sales Manager
  • Prepare all conference/training rooms to customer's'/course requirements - ensure all rooms are clean, well-stocked and to a high standard.
  • To service meeting rooms
  • Ensure that all non-technical equipment is maintained in operational order. Organise servicing and repairs when necessary
  • Assist and advise clients on the effective use of technical facilities
  • To provide support and assistance to all guests on site e.g. with Wi-Fi, Luggage, unloading and loading
  • Undertake performance appraisals
  • Source goods and services at the best terms for the company
  • Ensure that all public areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness during working hours.
  • Effective leadership and motivation from the front with a 'can do' approach with a flexible, dedicated team.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers
  • To create a positive and professional image with external suppliers

Skills/Attributes:

  • Computer literate, especially PowerPoint
  • Able to communicate effectively with all customers in order to translate customer requirements into practical solutions
  • Able to present a calm and professional manner
  • Interpersonal skills with strong customer focus
