We are looking for a methodical, organised, customer focused and experienced Administrator with excellent attention to detail to join our client, a well established charity(with over 2500 members) based in the heart of Marlow.

In this busy and rewarding role, the successful candidate will be providing support to the Membership, Education and Events teams and will have experience using a membership and/or CRM database.

The role is full time Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, office based. 25 days holiday.

Duties include

  • Maintain, update and manage the membership Excel database ensuring data integrity
  • Manage the membership mailbox, dealing with email and telephone enquiries
  • Inputting new membership from various payment sources
  • Add new direct debits ad hoc and reconcile all payments with the membership database
  • Print, collate and send out new member welcome packs
  • Oversee membership payment matters including fees, payment processing and invoicing
  • Ensure the website is up to date with all the membership details
  • Answer general enquiries regarding the education programme.
  • Manage administrative tasks within the learning management system
  • Maintain marketing information and updating mailing lists
  • Register delegates for courses hosted on the BMS website
  • Print or order delegates’ material, collate, pack and post

Skills/Experience

  • Experience in a busy administration role
  • Prior experience in using membership and/or CRM database essential
  • Financial acumen and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in a customer environment with excellent communication skills across all mediums
  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (inc pivot tables) and Mail Merge
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated, conscientious showing attention to detail in all areas
  • A ‘can do’ attitude is of key importance
