Part Time Administration Manager

Our client is a small growing interior design business. The owner has been in business since 2012 and since then has seen business boom. They're now looking for a proactive, motivated individual to join them on a part time basis to come in and put in place processes and procedures to make the business run smoothly.


The successful candidate will have superb IT skills and will have previous experience of implementing new software and office procedures. The hours are flexible and would be around 20 - 25 hours per week to start but once systems are in place, this may be slightly less. There are also other areas of the business that this person could get involved in depending on their skills and experience such as work on the website.


Duties include
* Management of invoicing and all digital VAT reporting and book keeping, implementing a new accountancy software
* Keeping all records up to date for accountant meetings
* P.A and admin support to business owner including client presentations, business proposals and general correspondence
* Setting Up and running of the new IVY system - a business and project management software programme for Interior Designers
* Regular support with supplier liaison including following up on orders, arranging deliveries and all other related admin
* Emailing updates and status reports to interiors clients and third parties

Ideal candidate would have :
* Strong Office Support experience in a small ( or large ) business
* Excellent office and admin organisational skills
* Outstanding computer skills including Excel and Digital Invoicing/VAT systems management
* Solid and up to date working knowledge and experience with PowerPoint and other Presentation Packages to help prepare for interiors creative meetings and client presentations
* Professional and polite telephone manner with clients and suppliers
* Great interpersonal skills with a good sense of humour
* Well rounded common sense and quick thinking initiative
