Our client, an international consultancy based near Marlow, is looking for a highly professional and polished Part Time Executive Assistant to join them.

Your primary focus will be to support one of the Senior Consultants as well as the wider team of Consultants in all aspects of delivering an outstanding service to clients. This is a diverse, challenging and rewarding position and is part of a motivated and skilled team many of whom have been with our client for over 10 years.

The breadth of the position will best suit someone who takes pride in their work and strives for ownership and responsibility and wants to combine learning new skills with gaining a wide range of experience in a business with a truly global outlook.

The hours are Monday to Friday 2.00pm - 6.30pm and the hourly rate is between £12ph and £18ph depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Assistant to a Managing Consultant - this includes partnering with them in managing their diary, ensuring that they are prepared for all their meetings and ensuring that their daily, weekly and monthly schedule allows time for all their diverse range of business activities
  • Coordinating all travel arrangements - this includes managing flights, making hotel reservations, preparing appointment schedules for travel and submitting travel budgets to clients
  • Creating executive level reports for clients by sourcing, collating and presenting information to an outstanding standard
  • Ensuring all internal and external documentation is prepared in a timely manner to an outstanding standard of quality and accuracy
  • Ensuring all communication sent from the team is clear and concise, that all meetings are confirmed, and written material is prepared in a professional and timely manner
  • Continuously seeking and reviewing ways and means to improve the quality of service
  • With guidance from the Managing Consultant assisting with research. Whilst not a core part of your role, you will help on a research across a diverse range of subjects

  • Confident and extrovert whilst maintain a highly professional approach. The position will interact with some of the most senior business leaders globally as well as a diverse range of individuals around the world so you need to feel comfortable in this diverse environment
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills enabling the running of several projects and tasks in parallel
  • Strong office skills with outlook, diary management and Word (including templates) are all highly desirable. Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and some form of contact management system is also very useful
  • Ability to build strong rapport and create long lasting relationships at all levels whilst also able to assert own needs
  • A team player and contributor
  • Excellent attention to detail and organized
