Temp to perm Payroll Administration Assistant

Immediate opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive organisation.

Temping for around 3 months, this role will then become permanent for the right candidate.

This role could suit a bright switched on gradate calibre individual who is looking to build their career in Finance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the timely and accurate payment of wages and providing assistance to all areas of the payroll department. This role reports in to the Payroll Manager.

  • Accurately calculating hours and mileage for weekly PAYE

  • Collating timesheets, checking against Contract schedules and chasing up missing timesheets

  • Entering timesheet hours on to the Payroll schedule

  • Entering new starters onto Sage HR database

  • All postal duties, filing, scanning and processing expenses

Skills required

  • Good administration skills and experience
  • Payroll knowledge an advantage but not essential
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Good team worker
  • Sage 200 experience a plus but not essential.
