Payroll & Pensions Assistant required for a friendly business based in High Wycombe.

The hours are 9 to 5.

The ideal person will have some payroll experience and a good knowledge of pensions including the Workplace Pension. They need to be accurate with good numeric skills, able to work under pressure and communicate on all levels. Excel spreadsheets and Word is essential.

Proactive, with a positive nature, team player, helpful attitude and a mature approach.

Working in a team of 4, you will be responsible for the following:

  •  Processing a 4 weekly payroll which is timesheet driven
  •  Manually inputting wages
  •  Processing new starters and leavers
  •  Resolving telephone enquiries and other ad-hoc duties
  • Collating of the pension deductions

You will need to have the following:

  • Good numerical skills
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Confident with Excel and Word
  • Be able to communicate on all levels
  • Payroll experience and ideally knowledge of pensions
  • Positive, helpful
