Our client is a fast-growing British luxury watch brand that is looking to strengthen its marketing team by adding a strategic, proactive and energetic individual. This is a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a fast-paced and fast-growing business with a strong identity and to make a considerable contribution in a new position now being created.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Communications, this is seen as an important and strategic role as our client plans to scale up and launch in new markets such as China, a market which represents 50% of the world's luxury watch market.

You will be responsible for managing the PR activity, both in the UK and internationally, managing different agencies and their output as well as more broadly helping the wider marketing team to deliver marketing plans to achieve key business targets/objectives.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in the watch, jewellery or luxury goods sector.

Some of the duties include
* Management of PR activity, both locally and via external international agencies
* Ensure all media requests are effectively handled in a timely manner
* Arrange and organise press photoshoots
* Press release/editorial copy lead for cross-channel marketing
* Maintain and develop the press database ensuring our CRM is always up to date
* Take ownership of PR reports both for the UK and other key markets
* Constantly collaborate with and seek out key publications and other media outlets including podcasts, TV, radio placement
* Regularly liaise with brand partners, working together to devise brand stories
* Issue internal communications to the company about product launches and brand news
* Media management for events/launches/press trips
* Identify and engage with social influencers and bloggers
* Continual liaison with the marketing team, ensuring all marketing functions are aligned for brand activations throughout the FY
* Ensure international marketing plans/initiatives are met

* Proven success in securing top level PR results
* Product marketing
* Multi-channel marketing
* Strong copywriting skills
* Degree educated (or equivalent)
* Good understanding of the retail market and an appreciation of the luxury market
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Good organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
* Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
