Our client, a CRO based in Winnersh, is looking for an experienced Proposals and Contracts Manager to join their small yet fast growing business.

The role manages the proposals process from the initial request to writing the proposal and manages contracts including legal review.

Duties include
Writing contracts such as MSA's, LOA's, CDA's, Subcontractor agreements and amendments based on a template

Thoroughly reviewing and risk assessing contracts/CDA's prepared by clients, flagging exceptions from agreed thresholds
 Liaising & negotiating with clients on required changes to contracts/CDA's
 Authorising and arranging signature of contracts/CDA's flagging more complex issues to management and coordinating legal review
 Initiate project set up process for newly signed contracts and project close out process for completed contracts
 Maintain contract templates in line with changes to the prevailing law - liaise with legal partners as necessary
 Manage and track all elements of the contract review process
 Managing & tracking the subcontractors ensuring SOPs and GDPR certificates are up to date
 Complete new client/vendor information forms as required
 Identify the client requirements and develop the key aspects of the proposal spec including deliverables and timelines
 Creating concise and compelling proposals
 Liaise with the appropriate experts for completion of medical text or other specialist text/tables
 Proactively leading and managing the proposal team and all aspects of the proposal from brief to signed contract
 Inputting proposals into our salesforce system and ensuring all proposals activity log is current
 Proactively manage proposals through the review process and ensure they are delivered to the client on time
 Attending marketing logistics meetings and partner meetings and present updates on proposals status
 Create and present KPIs on proposals and contracts for Management and the Board
 Proactively looking for trends/opportunities and feeding into marketing strategy meetings

Skills and Experience
* Able to work full time and flexible hours
* Graduate level with a contract research organisation
* Potentially legally qualified
* Solid awareness of commercial contract law
* Experienced contract reviewer
* Experienced proposal writer
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Flexible attitude towards working individually and part of a team
