A global leader based near Maidenhead seeks a Purchasing Coordinator who will provide administrative support to the purchasing department. You will be a highly organised and capable candidate with good attention to detail. A good level of IT is crucial, however training will be provided if necessary.

Salary £20,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience

Key duties to include:

  • Raise and approve Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Check and file delivery notes
  • Access various Supplier/Vendor Portals to place orders
  • Produce weekly and monthly statement of travel claims
  • Process monthly recharges, both inter-department and cross-company
  • Check, post and keep record of Utilities invoices
  • Produce monthly telecommunication invoices and call recharge
  • Have an input on Stationary Tender
  • Get quotes/pricing from suppliers

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Confident user of IT software
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel, in particular use of pivot tables and vlookups beneficial (training provided if necessary but a willingness to learn is a must!)
  • Previous experience in an admin/purchasing role desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Good organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
