Do you have an interest in/talent for writing and in current affairs? If so, our client require a dynamic and driven individual to join their editorial department and engage in extensive market research activities to determine the topics for future discussion forums.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Research then propose relevant and pertinent project for discussion forums
  • Prepare an agenda and secure suitable speakers
  • Prepare and deliver the marketing material to promote and attract interest, including writing professional and appealing copy
  • Attendance at event and follow up as required.

The ideal applicant will potentially hold a Politics or Journalism degree or be qualified through relevant experience. A keen interest in politics, current affairs and relevant issues are essential.

An analytical and enquiring mind combined with the ability to research in a thorough and methodical way is also essential, as is the ability to multi-task with several projects at one time..

Starting salary will depend upon skills and experience.
