Job Title: Sales & Specifications Manager
Location: Office is based in Ashford, Kent. However, majority of work is London based (travel reimbursed)
Salary: £45k-50k basic plus uncapped bonus OTE £70k-£80k

General:
Being the driving force behind winning business within an innovative and expanding company. You will build strong relationships with National Main Contractors, Architects, Consultants and Property Developers. Using this network, you will generate new business orders for the companies range of Bolt-on and Slide-on Balcony Systems. Using your technical knowledge and Construction experience you will determine the best sales and pricing strategies to ensure success at both project and client level negotiations.

Sales:
* You will hit and exceed sales targets as agreed on a quarterly basis
* Identifying and creating new business opportunities and leads
* Building trust relationships with new and existing clients positioning us as the go to for BOB
* Advise clients on technical and non-technical issues and develop suitable bespoke solutions
* Ensure the company's products are written into design specifications at early stages to enhance chances of success
* You will do what's needed to 'Break Spec' and win projects for the company.
* Preparing quotations and tenders with the estimating team as needed
* Ensure responses to tender are contractually and technically compliant with required specifications
* Ensure any non-compliance with specification or contractual issues are highlighted and communicated to all relevant parties prior to orders being won.
* Always work to ensure the companies best interests are forefront, including when costing, discounting and negotiating any deals or projects.
* Contributing ideas to sales and marketing materials and initiatives

General:
* Liaising with other departments to ensure we always provide the right products and services
* Obtain enough expertise and input from others (internally and externally) to mitigate and eliminate risk to the company both legally and financially.
* To maintain minimum financial performance requirements by ensuring that booked order margin targets are met
* Maintain correct 'paper trail' on all communications, discussions and negotiations.
* Produce a weekly report encompassing all areas under your responsibility, this will include a lead by lead detail breakdown, pipeline projections and order intake forecasting
* Champion the use of all company systems and drive better performance with better data
* Ensure all activity and data are entered correctly on to the systems and that all reports are accurate and up to date.
