Working for a 5 start hotel in the heart of Windsor, as the new position of Sales Manager you will be responsible for the face to face account development, promoting and proactively selling the property, building on existing corporate relationships whilst sourcing and developing new ones. You must have experience within a hotel background and proven sales experience and hitting targets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Face to face account management
  • Promote and proactively sell the property
  • Build on existing corporate relationships and developing new ones
  • Hunt for, target and bring new clients to the hotel for meeting and event business
  • Maximise potential existing users in order to stimulate enquires to the hotel and secure business
  • Maintain client database
  • Report back on activities

Key skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the travel/hospitality industry
  • Minimum of 2 years direct sales proactive experience
  • Good understanding of the sales cycle, hunting and sourcing new business and face to face account management
  • Ability to understand client requirements
  • Confident and ability to self-motivate
  • Good time management
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Well presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Full clean driving licence and own car (fuel expenses paid)
