In this role you will be providing administrative support to the Vice Chairman and Director General, including taking minutes; diary management and travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact for the DG and VC, via telephone, e-mail and face to face
  • Process expenses claims
  • Prepare letters and e-mails for the VC, the DG and other senior managers
  • Assist with administration for other senior managers and their teams
  • Make arrangements for meetings including arranging venues and taking minutes

Key Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or relevant knowledge and experience
  • Writing minutes, preparing briefing and drafting letters and e-mails to a high standard
  • Experience of working in a Government/civil service environment
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Positive and assertive and able to take control and use initiative
