Senior Accounts Administrator

Our client, a successful organisation based in Beaconsfield, has an exciting opportunity to join a team of friendly, professional people.

Reporting in to the financial controller and company directors you will be responsible for executing the day to day finance tasks for the company and will be the 'go to' point of contact for employees.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Purchases: entering all invoices, batching invoices to create payment runs by due date, paying invoices by BACS and credit cards
  • Sales: reconciliations of sales to income
  • Reconciliations of bank, PayPal, Amazon and credit card accounts
  • Banking cash and maintaining petty cash
  • Maintain and manage corresponding company files

Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of working in an accounts role, reconciling bank accounts, general ledger, and experience of VAT and submissions would be advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be a quick leaner with common sense
  • Be extremely trustworthy and diligent
  • Professional, calm and friendly manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently, managing own time and workload
  • Experience of working in a target driven role and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Be mathematically minded and able to efficiently problem solve
  • Proficient using MS Office
