Senior Accounts Assistant

Our client, a small successful company based in High Wycombe, is looking for an experienced accounts assistant with great attention to detail, ability to reason and think outside the box and who works well in a team.

Previous experience in a finance role or an accounting qualification is required. You will be working alongside the Finance Manager in this busy fast paced environment.

Previous experience working on Oasis is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given.

Duties include

  • Sending sales invoices & monthly statements
  • Processing purchase invoices and matching purchase invoices to good received notes
  • General PL & SL queries
  • Ad hoc reports
  • Debt chasing
  • Using Experian to update credit limits
  • Assisting with returns and raising associated credits
  • Processing sales orders on shredding and water cooler contracts

Skills/Experience

  • Great attention to detail
  • Highly numerate
  • Experience in a finance role or an accounting qualification such as AAT
  • Enthusiastic and hard working
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Ability to use own reasoning and logic to solve problems
  • Intermediate Excel skills
