Our client, an international pharmaceutical company based in Marlow, is looking for a Senior EA to provide high level secretarial and admin support to key leaders on a day to day basis for all telephone, travel planning, business trips, diary management, meeting co-ordination, presentation support and any ad hoc projects.

The successful individual will be confident, a diplomatic negotiator and used to working in either the pharma sector or a heavily regulated international business.


Our client is offering an excellent salary above market rate plus annual bonus and a fantastic benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business with planning, and organisation of customer events and meetings as well as Department and Management meetings
  • Build and maintain relationships both externally and internally within the region to ensure effective communication and efficient implementation of departmental activities
  • Provide assistance and back up to other business areas in peak periods or absence
  • Ensure a good working knowledge of business products, customers and members of the team to be able to support day to day operations tasks efficiently as directed by SVP/VP's with minimum supervision
  • Preparation of high quality documents including presentations and meeting action points
  • Handle day to day routine distribution of mail, basic tasks, and other routine operations
  • Manages all aspects of travel and transportation requirements including flights, hotels, ground transport (hire cars, car parking, taxis as required) and control of tickets prior to departure
  • Maintain diary schedules and calendar (Outlook)
  • Accurate preparation and submission of monthly expenses reports.
  • Provide support with ad hoc projects and tasks as requested


  • Extensive Senior PA experience, likely to include board level support
  • Excellent organisational, co-ordination and communication skills
  • Very good IT skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Both a team player and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Reliability, accuracy and precision
  • Dynamism and ease working under pressure in rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills in communicating and dealing with all levels of organisation, especially senior executive level customers in multi cultural environment
