Senior Meetings and Events Co-ordinator

Windsor

£25,000 plus monthly bonuses

If you are an experience Meetings and Events Co-ordinator, and have previously worked in 5 star hotels, then this would be a fantastic and exciting opportunity for you! My client are a prestigious, 5 star hotel, based in the heart of Windsor in the most picturesque location. You will be responsible with managing incoming business in relation to meeting and events within the event space, including reservation group bookings.

Key responsibilities:

  • In order to sell effectively you must be fully conversant with the daily availability of conference and function room availability
  • Respond to all enquiries via telephone and email within agreed timescales
  • Take responsibilities for wedding enquiries, bookings and events and complete all requests and details
  • Pro-actively review the event diary, ensuring all spaces are maximised
  • Conduct show rounds in a professional manner and convert the business
  • Issue weekly function sheets
  • Utilise preferred supplier lists
  • Ensure that up-selling of room types and additional hotel facilities is maximised
  • Identify and pass on all potential sales leads to the sales department

Key skills:

  • Previous experience working as a Meetings and Events Co-ordinator for a Hotel is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to present yourself professionally
  • Ability to stick to deadlines and be organised and multi-task
