Our client, often voted one of the best companies to work for in the UK, is looking for an Executive to join them and be part of the Strategic Sourcing Team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to enable them to strategically source products to fulfil customer demand.

The team will analyse requirements to onboard new suppliers and negotiate to ensure they are receiving favourable pricing and service.

The successful candidate must have the ability to analyse data using Excel, be a confident communicator and process driven.

Duties include
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
- Ensure we are receiving the best service and commercials in the channel
- Utilise relationships to enable us to negotiate and maximise revenue and profitability on sales opportunities
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with vendors
- Ensure we areachieving the highest partner status available and maximising rebate and deal registration opportunities
- Responsible for tracking and collecting rebates to ensure they are accurate and paid on time
- Assessing the requirements for onboarding new suppliers
- Analyse procurement trends utilising internal reporting

- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement or Supply Chain roles
- Market awareness around the IT industry and knowledge of the IT channel
- Confident at building relationship with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and process driven
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to run reports and analyse data using Excel
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- High level knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel

Due to growth in the business we are hoping to increase the management structure of theteam in the next 12 months so previous managerial/team leader experience would be advantageous.
